i heard of it. i joined it for a while but i got too much spam and i unsubscribed from it. i prefer tribe.net.

I'm actually quite shy and I don't go out much. I guess I'm just looking for someone to do some "friend's only" spooning.

I've heard of it too. Someone in the chatroom told me about it, and gave me the link to sign up, but I haven't yet. I'm glad I didn't, since it generates spam (which I hate).

really? that's all i'd get...it wasn't spam as in pop-up ads or canvassing crap, but i'd get tons of people wanting me to add them to my friends list, and once i did, they'd bombard me with all kinds of spammy (un)goodness - everything from DJs in south dakota inviting me to their club nights to schmoes forwarding me information about "get paid millions to work at home!" scams.

i far prefer tribe.net, because the focus of the site is on dialoging and interests - it's kinda like the org, but without the prince part (though there is a princeology tribe!).

OOOOH THAT. Well they set it up differently now so new friend requests go to a different folder. And I just deny them. I only add people that I think are cool after talking to them numerous times. There are some bands that I added too but I already liked them and they post bulletins as to when they are playing. I just ignore the other stuff.
