Harry WHO?

Even though many people are still anticipating that the next Harry Potter instalment is going to be released somehwere next year, let me be the one to say that I don't give a toss.

I was loyal from book one, then bearing with the boom that number two brought along and the craziness of number three and four.

Number four was to me already too thick a book and too less a story and number five just found me thinking that Harry Potter was in search of a plot.

Along with all the movies and the over exposure, I came to resent the commercialism that is Harry Potter. Even though I rather listen to the audio books read by Stephen Fry than watch any Dutch tele.

But that is all over now I have found a NEW hero!

His name is Arthur Penhaglion and he is a wheezing astmethic, an underdog, like Harry.

He is the boy that is chosen by lineage to beat death and face many evils unleashed on his world.

The book I am talking about is Mister Monday by Garth Nix. As Harry, Artur carries a series called The Keys To The Kingdom and I love these books.

I cannot stress the importance to drop Harry and pick up Arthur for the holidays! The most beautiful thing is that if you are lucky, you can get the THREE first books of the series, as number three is about to unleashed onto the world.
