Have you ever

been to see a fortune teller or psychic? If so, do you think it was worth the money?

One opened up around the corner from me and I'm curious.

My wife did about some years ago. She was told that she would meet someone in 3 or 4 years that would change her life (that'll be me then) and that she would get married. She was also told she would win the lottery soon, which she did (equiv. to $30 only). She was also told she would have health problems soon, which she did.

I don't buy it though.

nah...i had some friends in college who could read cards and stuff like that, but i never paid. my bf reads tea leaves and he likes to collect tarot cards, more because he likes how they look than anything else...i even took up tarot card reading for a while - it's a relaxing little activity, but i don't think there's anything "psychic" about it - if anything, i think it's a good way to commune with your instincts and subconscious. i don't think i'd ever pay a fortune teller, it seems like too much of a racket to me.

I read cards too nod I figure that it depends on the person, might be fun, might be a rip off. I'm thinking I got a 50/50 chance of having a good time.

hmmm I never really had a need to see a psychic being that I come from a family of clairvoyants. Being a true psychic is a gift which is not to be sold but shaired. So far, one of the most authentic psychic I've seen is Slyvia.

Careful, some are just out for da dinero!! deal But some are genuine. I've never been to one. My cousin occasionally goes to one she tends to stress alot about what her situation is..i dunno if analysing stuff anymore than she has is gonna solve anything!! The phenomenon itself i do believe exists- i've experienced some ESP nod i've been told it's genetic. But i'll tell ya dat it's far less mystical than made out to be. It's somewhat natural. Anyways i'm blabbin...just be careful!! But if u feel da curiousity...i guess u never know if ya never go. nod

I had a consultation with one once, he was very acurate but i can see the dangers in this too.

My friend recently went to see the same guy who told ehr she and her husband wouldn't last and she would be leaving him before christmas for a dark haired sucessful man hmmm

I worry that the fact this man said that to her will influence her decisions and make her act in a different way then she would have done without such "insights" as i think maybe i would have made different choices if i hadn't spoken to the guy.

nod Agreed. She is pretty accurate with her predictions. I don't know if I would cough up the $700 bucks. Hell, I would just catch her on Montell b/c as I've said in my previous post she is the real deal.
