Favorite movie soundtrack(s)? Xanadu, the first few Wim Wenders movie soundtracks (Wings of Desire, Until the End of the World, Faraway! So Close), Koyaanisqatsi & Powaqatsi, Hedwig & the Angry Inch (the movie AND OST soundtracks are equally wunnerful), Vampiros Lesbos, Valley of the Dolls, and a buncha other soundtracks that I'll slap myself for forgetting later...

Favorite scent(s)? Anything citrus-y; anything minty. Really fruity/perfumey scents make me physically ill - my sinuses swell to the size of volleyballs and I get a horrible headache. I used to wear orange oil that was meant to be rubbed on light bulbs. It smelled pretty good on me, actually.

Favorite flavor(s)? Hot! Sour! Chocolate! Peanut butter! I like chili paste and any candy with that super-sour candy salt stuff spackled on it. I like really really sour natural lemonade, and I like to sprinkle cajun pepper on everything I eat at dinnertime. I like flavor. I like to have so much flavor my tongue implodes. Sometimes I will sit in front of the TV and just dip my tongue in a full jar of MSG powder for hours.

Favorite author(s)? William Burroughs, Dave Eggers, Nick Hornby, Douglas Coupland, George Orwell, Albert Camus, Jean Paul Sartre, Edward Albee, Eugene Ionesco, Jim Goad, David Wojnarowitz, and other people I can't think of right now, some of whom might even be cheery and female.

Favorite color(s)? ORANGE!!!! About 80% of my wardrobe is earthtones, and my apartment is made up of different shades of green with white accents. So there you go.

What's your idea of a relaxing evening? Sitting in front of a crackling fireplace on a snowy winter evening, listening to "Ancestors" by Bjork and gently - ever so gently - pushing pins into my Althom voodoo doll. Oh, and playing Scrabble with my boyfriend - but the voodoo thing is up there, though.
