ps- Quorn products make a "turkey" roast which is one of my favorite meat substitutes EVER. I just did a quick search on google and it appears, this brand originated in Europe so it may be easy for you to find.

it also appears that there a titch of controversy over the protein substitute used in their products as it may be allergenic to some. I'll say that we've eaten their products many, MANY times with out any problems....

I'm not vegetarian (wife is), but I have never cared for the fake meat products, usually it means soy based with that horrible fake smoke flavor. The best veggie burgers I have had are the ones that taste like vegetables.

What are some of the better vegetarian frozen meals?

I once had veggie chicken nuggets by Morningstar Farms and it was just awful.

I'd need to get very drunk to eat that.

sounds furky dodgy to me, get something fresh, and enjoy your festivities my sweet

anything made by Amy's is excellent - they have various mexican dishes, pizza, etc.

also, i've found that a lot of the indian frozen dinners are very good.

as with anything, be sure to doctor it to your taste!

for T.G. this year i'll have the usual:
Starfish and Coffee,
maple syrup and jam,
hog maw skins, chitlin rings, side order of ham,
with some Red Kool-Aid baby, then you'll understand,
Starfish and coffee, green eggs and ham....

..and oyster corns...

Now that's just plain crazy! I LOVE Morningstar Farms. Their veggie "buffalo wings" are soooo yummy. And I like their chick patties, which I assume are the same as the nuggets...
