Deleting your account and starting all over again? Even at all?

What are you trying to say?

I went and deleted my profile, which has been a good move on my part, but no I wouldn't start over again...

By deleting it I mean in that it would erase all the posts you ever made. I cringe when I think back to some of the things I've said or wrote on this site.

And to answer the question, the thought has crossed my mind, but it would be pointless. I know too many people here. They'd know it was me anyway. And anything stupid I've said or written (prolly while drunk) is buried far enough no one's looking at it anyway and likely no one would remember it either...

Deleting some specific posts? Yes, I have thought of that. And I have deleted some things in the past. But now I make those decisions as I post. I ask myself, "is this something that I want to openly, publicly state for anyone to be able to read?" And sometimes I do make mistakes and say things I shouldn't, or that I wish I didn't -- but I'm human, and that's okay.

I actually did that - not for the reason you mentioned, though. I just wasn't fond of my username, so I deleted my account and set up a new one.

One of the many benefits of the internet is total anonymity - I think we're all pretty much free to make total asses of ourselves with pretty much no repercussions to face (except our own conscience, of course).

The only post I would take back is the one referring to one guy's elaborate tattoo where I said I found a "666" in it. He was a little upset about it.

Heh...Ya know, that's kinda scary that the description could almost apply to him as well. If his hair actually is green, he starts wearing purple, and he goes around squirting acid at people, I'd be more afraid than I already am.

I have found myself getting too wrapped up at times and acting like an ass when the drama factor here is high. When I realize that's happened, I just apologize where needed and then step away from the Org till I'm ready for it again.

I was actually 'on break' for months in the past year and only visiting to check/send orgnotes. It felt good.
