I just learned that I have an older version of PowerPoint on my computer (1997), which doesn't work too well, since some of the functions have changed a little bit. Looks like I'm going to have to go out and get the 2000 Microsoft Package, since my Microsoft Word and Excel are also 1997 versions, which are dinosaurs now, I don't think companies even use it anymore.

I agree that PowerPoint isn't all that, but a lot of companies seem to think differently.

Powerpoint is a piece of cake. Don't get intimidated by the fact that it's an Office application, just jump right in, it's a no brainer.

The mechanics of powerpoint are easy. As far as making a good and interesting presentation, that's another matter altogether.
