THE LAST SAMURAI seeing Brett's thread on The Butterfly Effect inspired me to make a thread about THE LAST SAMURAI... I watched it again at my Nana's on the weekend on video - it blew me away as much as the very first time I saw it at the cinema  SUCH A BRILLIANT MOVIE!

I have this on DVD. Very good movie must be cuz for the most part I can't stand Tom Cruise  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

I started a thread about this movie a few weeks ago too!
I like it alot as well. I thought Cruise was excellent in his role. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

Never seen this flick, but I think TC is an underrated actor (just check out his work in Eyes Wide Shut or Born on the 4th of July). Granted, he's a freak and - quite possibly - a robot created by Scientology, but an underrated actor, nonetheless. | |
