NYC MEET UP RECAP Wow , was really great to meet some more folks from the org, some awkward silences here and there and I spilled ice water on EWM's lap  but all in all a great time all round. We tend to forget that there are people behind all these avies and having some of them at arms length really makes you realize the enormity of this here site. Truly amazing!
We had dinner and then spent some time at a bar. Hope to do it again some time soon. 
In attendance: Purplegypsy: Folks this lady is not only amazingly pretty (I want her hair!!!) but tons of fun to be around.  Very cool to meet ya N!  
NWF: This dude's knowledge of music is seemingly endless! Always had a question or a topic to help ease over those awkward moments! 
EWM: I hate to break it to ya'll but this man ain't evil at all, he's a sweet heart, a big old teddy bear! I was so happy to finally meet the man behind the myth! 
Pill and I had lots of fun, even though my honey got a case of shyness!  
Every time I meet and orger I am just overwhelmed by how great my fellow p.org patrons are, folks if there is an orger you would like to meet or you have someone near by that you haven't crossed paths with yet,you really should, I've never been disappointed and I doubt you would be either! Photos are forth coming on basis of approval. I think we only have one good one anyway (Pill made them all blurry  )In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

JUST KIDDING> Totally cool person - I may have to download a M. Manson track or something. NWF: We already know each other...your knowledge of music still makes my eyes pop out. PILL: Next time you come out East i'll try to talk a little louder over the crowd.

It was cool hanging out with you guys. I wish there could've been more orgers involved, and then we would've had our own little org invasion. EWM = This guy isn't so evil after all. He's just misunderstood. Nevertheless he's cool anyways. Sweeny = I thought you were taller. But it was cool to finally meet an org moderator. Sweeny's a sweetheart. LittlePill = He's pretty cool, but he's very shy and quiet. But it's all good though. Purplegypsy = I hadn't expected to see you there, but there you were. 'Twas good to see you again too. We gotta go clubbin' again to. Preferrably to an 80's themed club.

I am so upset I missed the NYC Meet Up! I have been traveling for work.
I live in NJ and I have been dying to meet up with some Prince fans. (Sometimes I feel like the only maniac here) If another NYC/NJ Meet Up is arranged, I would definitly love to be there! | |
