Well Melissa... hmm, I believe the hair is or can be a persons best physical asset (if we obtain it) and should always be tended to. I do however realize it's not everything and we should be grateful for what we have, I work with cancer patients daily. I don't spend a whole lot of time on my hair, at least I don't think so. (20 minutes total) I do however wash it twice a day (fanatic behavior, I am a clean freak) with a shampoo/conditioner product such as Back2Basic, plus I work in the hospital and before this, I was around kids all day. Germs. I blow dry it completely and just kinda see how it is going to go for the day, I manipulate it some and spray the heck out of it with hairspray. Doing hair can be an art I believe.

I will admit, I have gone through so many products through the years... although through the process of elimination I have chosen to stick with Paul Mitchell Glaze, Mousse and Hair Spray. I have natural curly hair, that has a weird soft curl and a lot of hair I have. I know my hair well. I have been getting gray hairs since high school, went through 3 years of coloring it... too many nightmares to admit to and costly. So, about 3 or 4 years ago decided to go natural, gray and all. The grays are freaky, they frustrate me to no ends... but I like the color nonetheless. I get compliments on my hair all the time... most people think the streaks are fake, then when they find out their not... they are like. ... I don't know why. ~Smile.

I laugh when I see this picture, for I have not changed much in my 30 + years of life. Just a bit more stick... still a tomboy at heart, hate dresses... but the hair is the same. Oh, and I smile a whole lot more.
