That's right! Here are the rules:

- Chess moves are made by using the most popular method, algebraic notation (with a slight variation for the org - each move will be counted sequentially. The first move of the first person is "move #1" and the first move of the second person is "move #2" and soforth).

- Orgers will respond, via the "reply" function of the org, to each move made by the above orger.

- Colors are defined as followed: Odd moves = white. Even moves = black.

- Once an orger chooses to participate, they MUST stay with the color of their first move (for example, the orger who makes move #1 is OBLIGATED to play for white, the orger who makes the second move must play for black). This is a FIRM rule. Any moves made in violation of this rule will be void and play will continue with the last acceptable move.

- All orgers are allowed and encouraged to play.

- Play will continue until a winner is decided.

That's right! What would any competition be without fabulous prizes!?!?! So, for those members who are victorious in this First Annual Org Chess Tournament, you will be allowed to post the following in your signature: "2004 Org Chessmaster". Chessmasters will be allowed to keep this in their signature for the entire year, until next year's tournament.
