2teh9s is still active. so he's not really gone.

I know he was upset that a comment made about flying planes into skyscrapers wasn't cut because his brother was in the world trade center. He questioned it and the moderator concerned decided to deactivate him.

He's been deactivated because of his past record of breaking the rules and trying to manipulate the moderation system. In fact, I believe this is deactivation number five for him. As for whether he will be reactivated, I've referred the matter to Ben for a decision.

Because of the U.S. presidential election, today has probably set the prince.org record for the most number of moderation requests/incidents in a single day. And for most of the day, I've been the only moderator online with the ability to moderate the Politics & Religion forum, where virtually all of the trouble has been. So if I seem a little trigger-happy today, it's because I'm trying to keep P&R from turning into a flame pit.

Anyway, this is off-topic for General Discussion, so...
