Hijacked? No way! I would love to see more people post pics of what is going on in there lives on any given day! Part of the great fun in Minne was we knew most when they hit the door! It was exciting to see. LoveMachine was a hugh example of that.... We all weren't expecting him... When he hit the floor we all pointed and squealed! Instant recognition. It was totally cool. At first you see people staring intently as they have to put a voice and animation together with what they already know. Then it settles in. Ivy immediately shouted that my voice was off from what she expected. She thought it would be deeper.. Now when I read the posts from those I have spent time with I hear them and know without doubt what the meaning of the post is. That's especially effective with those with a quirky sense of humor or attitude. All posts are complete with accents now. I think it is especially cool that people come to realize it isn't a fashion show and tolerance. We love and respect the cultural differences that go along with being raised not only internationally but in the 50 different states. What is normal in one is different in another. It forces you to drop your preconceived notions and see what is really there. I have never been disappointed.
It gives an often rare glimpse into the world around you. I dare say being in an International community has educated the individuals here far more on the world around them then most. It gives you a greater oppertunity to understand others and bring that back into your daily lives. I have more of a global perspective. Not many Californians do. I also have a perspective not taught by media but by years of interaction with actual people around the world. As always your experience is what you make it.

On another note..... I need to begin ironing out some details for this trip... Like a date and also what time to fly... There is a major time difference. I sure could use some advice from international travelers..

And DeeDee is a woman of course....

Both my cats like MEN, somehow. They come out to look at MEN.
It is the high heeles (clickclack) and the high voices the dont like in women.
So if you wear flats and talk like a lesbian you might be okay in the kittie cuddling department.
