You have a right to your opinion. Culturally, everyone runs their household differetly and people need to understand that.

life is full of options

I agree full heartly with your statement about life being full of options. One options is to live and and let live. Another option is to the realization that everyone's life experience/value system differs according to their cultural background and what may be offending to you may not be offending to some.

hmmmm...where's PETA when you need em'? lol Anyway, I love animals and I didn't think it was THAT big of a deal. If it was, then the producers would've pulled Flava aside and gave him a talk or had him arrested for animal cruelty.

ok... I saw the re-run....and he did smack the puppy a little too hard on the head and the way he grabbed him was a little too rough. But still it should blow over like nothin'....his apology seemed sincere.

Flava hit a dog?

Bad Flava!!! no no no!

Everyone knows that the only way to stop a dog from shitting on the floor is to use electrodes. nod

You can get them to dance too!
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

describe "hit" - like spanked him w/ a newspaper or punched him in the nose? hmm

Exaclty. People misqoute words and overdramatize actions of people.

He dragged that puppy by the collar towards the poop, hit the dog much TOO HARD (imo), and then followed after it when it ran off.

The hitting/"spanking" issue aside, what Flava did in regards to housebreaking was WRONG.

I think what he did was extreme, especially considering doing that type of thing does NOT help housebreak a dog - rubbing a dog's nose in the accident and/or spanking it doesn't do a damn thing because a puppy's mind ISN'T going to connect or associate the two acts (making the mess & the 'punishment'). The only thing that rubbing its nose int the mess is going to accomplish is damaging the dog's trust in you.

The above can be read and learned in practically ANY INFORMATION AVAILABLE REGARDING HOUSEBREAKING A PUPPY.

Hitting a puppy for having had an accident is ignorant, and is pointless cruelty and doesn't accomplish anything in terms of training the animal. If the producers wanted to thrust an animal into the mix of this program, maybe The Surreal Life should've educated these people on the humane and proper way to housebreak a puppy before actually placing the puppy in the house.

Well folks regardless of what we think, Flava really couldn't give a damn right now what any of us think b/c this season of the Surreal Life is about over. Right now, Flava is counting counting his green backs and fucking away with Brigitte:boff:. Damn, I can't wait to see thier new show .
