Favorite Horrors to Watch on Halloween Another thread got me thinking about this. What horror movies are a must for you around Halloween? My picks:
Halloween (any of them) Night of the Demons The Exorcist (the scene with Ellen Burstyn walking back from the campus is a beautiful fall shot!) Elvira: Mistress of the Dark Night of the Living Dead Return of the Living Dead Fall of the House of Usher Nosferatu The Fog The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (alright...laugh already...get it over with! ) Masque of the Red Death House of Wax The Haunting The House on Haunted Hill There are far too many good ones to try and squeeze in during such a short period of time. I'll recall more later, I'm sure.

Some very good ones on that list!
I'd also like to add... Suspiria - Very creepy (and gorgeous) visuals and unnerving death scenes (not to mention that music!). The acting sucks ass, but everything else about this movie more than makes up for that. Evil Dead (I and II) - The original has alot of charm because it was made on such a small budget. Part II is really just a big-budget remake of part I, but both are very funny and spooky at the same time. Silent Night Deadly Night - I don't know how this movie ever made it into the theatres, especially with that opening rape scene. You'll need to take a shower after watching this... The Entity - Barbara Hershey getting goosed by a ghost. I don't know how they did that, but it's very convincing on camera... Demons - It's been a long time since I've seen this, but I recall a whole theatre full of people turning into demons, which erupts into complete chaos and carnage. Dario Argento can really get under your skin and pull off a movie like this.

Bruce Campbell is hosting BoogeyMen 2 tonight on Sci-Fi. Actually, Sci-Fi has been playin' horror movies all day long. Once again, I'll have to fight my roommate for the t.v tonight. Maybe I'll have to break out the "boomstick" looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
