Signature origins! As I was on http://www.prince.org/msg/8/119798 - fantasyislander asked OdysseyMiles where his signature was from. It's a pretty cool quote from a pretty cool movie - I invite you to go check it out. Or I invite OdysseyMiles to post here and save you the trouble. 
It got me thinking - what about everyone else's? Where's your signature quote from? Mine is a reading from a manual that doctors give to laryngectomy patients who need to use vocoders to communicate. It's part of the "rainbow passage" that is supposed to have each and every sound you'd need to make - it is to phonetics what "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" is to the alphabet. I heard it in a song by the revered underground speed-metal band Tourniquet. They sample actual vocoder sounds in their song, and there are other lyrics that won't fit into the signature. I had to edit. That's my story, now post yours! Just an explanation though - your signature appears magically under each post!!! When the sunlight strikes raindrops in the air, they act as a prism and form a rainbow. The rainbow is a division of white light into many beautiful colors. Mine is from a Spongebob Squarepants episode, in which Patrick Starfish, while in the middle of a panic attack because his parents are coming to visit, castigates Spongebob for not taking life more seriously:
Spongebob: "I came over to see if you wanted to go jellyfishing, but I can see you're busy having an episode.." Patrick: "You know what, Spongebob? Mine is obviously from 1999.....Let's Pretend We're married....I had a girlfriend who died suddenly in 1999....From this I decided I
was going to turn my life about hence the sig.....Not a sad story....more nice memories..

My signature is to remind the Democrats who keep accusing Bush of lying about WMD that both sides believed he had weapons. They both had access to the same intelligence and both came to the same conclusions. It turned out to be untrue but Bush certainly wasn't lying about WMD. I at one point was going to change it often as I have quotes from EVERY high-profile democrat about what a threat Sadaam and his WMD are but for whatever reason I never got around to it.
