Why even bother if you're not going to do it right? I'm getting the sneaking suspicion this move is gonna suck, just like Batman & Robin. I never understood the whole black paint around the eyes thing either.

It looks like they took all the past costumes and said: hey... let's mix and match until we come up with the ugliest piece of crap!

If you've got broadband or cable got to www.theforce.net fanfilms and look for 'Batman - Dead End'. that is what Batman should look like.

If you've seen the short 7 minute movie, Batman Vs Joker then Vs Alien and Predator is also a better little film than all the Batcrap films put together. I hate them. complete rubbish.

i dunno. i don't mind it altho it does resemble a giant rubber tire. the Alex Ross one looks a bit too camp.

Oh fortheluvva...How can you say this movie is going to be as bad as B&R based on a fucking picture of the costume??? That's just absurd. Spider-Man was great, even though the Green Goblin looked like a Power Ranger villian.

Its easy to say that the costume should look like the Alex Ross model, because that is accurate to the comic. Well, some things don't translate well to the screen. The Alex Ross costume looks great when its converted into a painting, but looks like a dork in a bad Halloween costume when its real-life. Nolan is basing his whole film on the concept of things being able to work in the real worl, and its about time someone did that with Batman.

Still, its fairly obvious you've decided you aren't going to like the movie, no matter how good it is.

See, I just don't think you can judge it that way. First off, you have to see how it translates on screen, and second, you can't judge an entire film from this. Hell, I go back to the Green Goblin again. That suit was sooooo dumb, but the movie was great, and DeFoe NAILED Norman Osbourne. To me, what's important is who is IN the suit. Bale is incredible, and he truly looks like someone who could be a billionaire playboy (did anyone actually buy that aspect of Keaton?). He has the acting chops, as well as the physicality for the role. Add in the fact that Nolan is filming most of the Gotham shots in Chicago (one of the two cities that Frank Miller based his Year One Gotham on. The other was Detroit) and I think it bodes well.








Me too! Personally, I think its gonna rock! I can't wait to see The Bat portrayed properly on the big screen FOR THE FIRST TIME IN LIVE ACTION!
