He hasn't been in a decent, worthwhile movie since The Princess Bride.

Too bad, cuz I think he's hot.

Well after this, I'm convinced he's on of the worst actors in the biz.

Yeah, I've read at a few other places where are people saying he's especially horrible in 'Saw' and his acting makes the film even worse.

How sad that my poor Westley ended up just a bad actor in lousy movies. sad

This film should tank quite a few careers.

Saw's been gettin' horrible ratings. Supposedly blood and gore....and nothin' else.

Nothing wrong with that. Blood and gore is the only reason I sat through GhostShip.

What the fuck is Saw supposed to be about anyways? What's the point of it if it's so stupid.

Oh, and ya'll are right. The Grudge was dumb as fuck.

Although 1 scary movie this year that I saw that was pretty creepy was the Exorcist: New Beginnings. That was about the only good horror flick I saw all year.

Oh, and doesn't the new Chucky look stupid? I never liked these movies? How the hell can you not kill a damned little doll? Step on the motherfucker!

You thought Exorcist: The Beginning was creepy? It was almost as shitty as SAW. The Grudge was waaayyy better than both of them.

NObody is saying it is OSCAR MATERIAL, but it was suspensful and at times creepy and disturbing!

It was descent for the first 30 minutes, then it seems like the writer, director, producer, editor, and actors just said "Fuck it, let's destroy it."

The acting was laughable, the visuals became boring, the suspense was tame, and the story tanked big time. When everyone in the audience starts laughing uncontrollably for almost half the film, you know something's gone wrong.

NOBODY was laughing in theater that i was in.. everyone seemed on the edge of their seats.. and enjoyed the movie.. I heard numerous people say they thought it was good as we were walking out.. so i dont know exactly why everyone was laughing in your theater.. (although i could think of some reasons, but probably none related to the movie)

I didn't think that at all, in regards to the writer, etc.. I didnt' think it was laughable till the end.. and only for a few seconds..

Oh well, agree to disagree! SO be it!

As soon as the girl learned that the reverse bear trap was gonna crack her face open and the camera started spinning around her and the loud industrial music started to play, I knew things were going down hill.

Anyway, maybe someday I'll point out to you all the silliness in that shit film. Get a comfortable seat, cuz you'll be there for a while.

I haven't seen it yet, and I still plan on seeing it, but I just saw on Yahoo movie news that they're going to make a sequel because of how well the opening weekend did compared to what it cost to make. Here's the link -

That is the most assinine analogy.. I didn't think that was cheesy or going to make the movie go down hill at all.. If anything that part kept me on the edge of my seat more.. YOu obviously didn't like it and that is fine, but dont brain wash the rest of the people to think it was horrible.. Cause obviously not everyone thought that.

And on that note:

Saw 2 On Its Way!
SAW, the terrifying new film produced by Twisted Pictures and released by Lions Gate Films, the motion picture acquisition, production and distribution arm of Lions Gate Entertainment, cut a wide swath into the nationwide box-office over the lucrative Halloween weekend, grossing $18.3 million on 2315 screens, taking the #3 position. Scaring off the competition by coming in #1 on Halloween day, the films three day gross exceeded industry expectations. On the heels of positive response to the bloody tale of a twisted psychopath's murderous cat and mouse games, plans for the sequel releasing Halloween 2005 was jointly announced by Peter Block, Lions Gate Films President of Acquisitions, Television and Co-Productions and Twisted Pictures Mark Burg, Oren Koules and Gregg Hoffman.

"We were confident going into this weekend as the only new horror release that we would hit our target audience of genre fans, but this has exceeded all our expectations," said Tom Ortenberg, President of Lions Gate Films Releasing. "With 'SAW,' James Wan and Leigh Whannell have tapped into filmgoers' most base fears and have created something that people immediately feel they need to talk about with others, and see again to catch clues they may have missed the first time," he added.

"We are thrilled about the strong opening weekend of 'SAW.' Lions Gate's marketing and distribution team has done a phenomenal job and we're very excited to be partnering with them again on SAW 2," say producers Burg, Koules and Hoffman.

Directed by 27-year-old James Wan and written by 27-year-old co-star Leigh Whannell, "SAW" follows a madman who, obsessed with teaching his victims the value of life, abducts morally wayward people and forces them to play horrific games for their own survival. Faced with impossible choices, each victim must struggle to win back his/her life, or else die trying. The film stars Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter, Dina Meyer, Ken Leung and Leigh Whannell
