I woke up to something very bad last night. And because of it I had so much pent up anger that as soon as my ex got in the car to take me home, I punched him in the jaw. I'm soooo ashamed of myself, I don't want to get into details, but I think the majority of you would say he deserved it. But really, I dont' think ANYONE (even you 9s) should be hit. It's just not like me and I feel awful

I did apologize to him for this. And if he had smacked me back I would have deserved it and accepted it. I feel like scum. SUCH SCUM.

ya had to let it out Carrie, i mean ya shouldnt've decked the poor bastid, but hit a wall or take a walk.. scream.its ok tho.. because we all get like that at certain times.

Wow, such violence. I hope you'll get past it soon. Obviously, you will get over it, but hopefully, it will be soon. You would not have deserved a return hit. You felt you had reason and I'm sure he knew that before his jaw started throbbing.

Coulda blamed it on your dreams One time when I was with my ex, I dreamed that I walked in on him in bed with some guy and the shock of it woke me right out of my sleep and I instantly just pounded his chest with my fist. I mean it happened before I realized I even did it, it was like a knee jerk reaction. He was like "hey, what's going on" and I just pretended that I was still asleep and he shook me thinking I was having a nightmare

I hear ya Carrie, hitting is never good. I was in an abusive relationship before and that always keeps me from taking things to a physical level, even though sometimes I do feel like smashing people in the face. You've apologized and you've owned up to the mistake. Hopefully everyone can move on
