Greetings everyone,

It's time to update you on our activities. New Power
Houston has been "revamping" the design and focus of
our organization. We are very busy seeking funding
for a technical resource center which will open in the
Hiram Clarke area. Although we will be based in this
area, we will not turn anyone away that is not a
resident. Some of the services that we will provide
are:

MSOffice Suite, Typing, Research assistance, Copy
Reproduction and employment skills tutorial programs
just to name a few. While we will be pursuing grants
for the major funding for our goal, we will still
require your help in order to continue. Please
support us in mind when we inform you about
fundraising projects. It is vital to the survival of
our organization.

On January 2, 2005, New Power Houston (no recognized
as NPH Technical Resources) will be 6 years old. Stay
tuned for the details of our anniversary celebration.
It's sure to be a blast

Each year, New Power Houston adopts families to feed
for the holidays. The success of this program, "Feed
a Family" has been possible due to the continued
support of the citizens of the City of Houston and
it's surrounding areas. We are once again asking you
for your help. We will need the follwoing donations
as well as monetary support.
Turkeys
Gift Baskets
Canned goods- variety (corn, cranberry sauce etc)
Stuffing mix
Boxed cornbread mix

What we usually do is provide the families with a
turkey and a basket of non perishable food items or a
store gift card to shop for the remainder of the items
to complete the meal. Additionally, if you know of a
family that is need of a holiday meal, please complete
the attached form and return it to us by 11/15/04. If
