Sorry, but that just looks silly. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

So for those of us who don't have any origional comics, what should Batman look like? Can all the Bat Fans agree on what is right and wrong or is there a discrepancy there also?

I'm sorry, but the Batsuit always looks better all in black.
the ones with the grey suck (they may look ok in a comic, but they look like crap on the big screen).

(I still think it's pants over trousers) Some purist argue that Batman should look EXACTLY like he does in the comics. This costume was used by a model for comics painter Alex Ross, and is dead-on from the comics: Problem is, it looks good on paper, but damned silly in real life. Personally, I think that directors have to take a little bit of license, or else the audience will be laughing at the dork in the suit. I mean, c'mon, if you were a criminal, what would you be afraid of? the guy in the body armour, or the guy in tights? Ironic thing is, those who have seen any of the dailies from Batman Begins claim that the suit actually looks alot like the comic rendition when on screen. The bat symbol, when light hits it, stands out from the rest of the costume, making it look black on grey (or at least a light black). So far, the best comic costume adapted to screen was Spider-Man. They tweaked it just enough so it didn't look silly, yet stayed true to the original design. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

I thought the blue/grey and black was original, but i didn't want to get blasted by bat fans. So the general consesus is if you are gonna tweak it (for artistic licence) at least tweak it right. I agree on the spidy too, although TOO much with the CGI. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

Think about how bad X-Men would have looked if Wolverine had been running around in yellow spandex!!
