I had a pair of suede blue ones. I loved those shoes, that is until my cat pissed on them. I still tried sporting them bitches till I got paranoid people were saying I smelled like cat urine.

When I worked in the "oil field industry" I had to go out to the platforms in the ocean. I was required to wear doc martins. Although they were comfy, I dont miss 'em.

I wore them so often through five years that I developed a planters wart and toenail fungus (since treated and released). I miss them. I've been to places like NY to Peru, high school to college with them. They were not good hiking boots though... just great ass-kickers. They are in my trunk right now just in case.

Moderator | I had a pair of black ones that came up to my knee, a pair of black/blue ones that came up about mid calf (and that I covered in all different color paint)and a pair of brownish yellow ankle length ones.
And of course you had to have the bright colored laces in those fuckers. I just googled for pictures and found these, I think I would still actually wear them. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

I did at uni, and they were shiny black when I bought them, I had to scratch them up and dirty them up before I could even go OUT wearing them.. wearing NEW Docs is sooo uncool..
Funnily enough I used to design for Dr. Martens about 4 years ago..
