Are you going to hand out candy for Halloween?

If so...what kind?

I haven't gotten any yet boxed But, I usually pick little candy bars and stuff that I wanted to get when I was a kid smile

I always go to my parents' house for Halloween to hand out candy, since I live in an apartment-style condo. Not sure how many kids I would get coming to my door. I enjoy seeing the little kids in their cute costumes, plus my 2 nephews go over to my parents' house as well. biggrin
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I usually go to my mom's to hand out candy too. I live in an upper flat, so I don't get kids coming to my place. I buy some of the candy, though, to help out my mom. She usually gets hundreds of kids!
It's so fun to see all of the little ones smile

It sure is! My parents usually get around 100 kids, but sometimes a little less than that.

hug I understand, I haven't been in the spirit either. I think it's being out of a job that is making me feel this way.

I love your avatar, by the way. biggrin

hug I've been praying too. How's it going for you? I just had a great interview today and I have to do a writing test (I'm a journalist/communications officer) and submit some of my portfolio and have ANOTHER interview (that will be the third one for this job) and hopefully I'll know within three more weeks. sigh I really want this one...it seems just wonderful smile

woot! Good luck to you, I hope you get that job, it sounds great. Things have been slow for me as far as getting interviews go (as they have been for everyone). I just have to hang in there and keep plugging away.

Administrative assistant, been doing it for 24 years. Problem is that the jobs that are open are only willing to pay $10-$12 per hour, which is too low for someone like me.

I know... sigh It seems that a lot of companies are wanting to hire people with no experience or people right out of college so they can pay them less.

Sure as hell not me Applekisses....

I've been looking unsuccesfully in the same field as you for the last few months. Only had one interview so far. Graduated recently with an Applied Comm. - PR degree, I have consulting and contract experience, but nobody's giving a damn. I'm glad we don't live in the same city though! Less competition. GRrrrrr. mad

Anyway, do you want to give me some money? smile

Hmm... that's strange...

A company out of Detroit called me earlier today and asked if I wanted a job because the next best candidate was some crazy Prince fan who wants to rot the teeth of young kids. I'm not sure if I should take it though. What do you think?
