o-tay...in case you didn't see my last post on the initial thread i went ahead and unstickyfied the other invasion thread since it's all overwith. here, we can continue on with the memories/pix of the whole shebang. i haven't had that much fun since...oh man, since like never. seriously--i can't imagine a better, sexxier, kick-assier group to spend time with than those of ya'll who made the trip to mpls and spent all 3 or so days with us, settin the city on fire n'such. i lub all of you!!!!

for those of you who were either unable to make it or wished they coulda been here with us: there's always next time.

i can't think of any quotes at the moment, but i can think of 5 moments (there was more than one, but we gotta narrow it down to only 5 ):

1) erin's reaction to settin foot on paisley park grounds (it was one of them "you had to have been there" sorta moments)

2) everybody goin "owoooahhh!" at the uptown (and embarrassing muse a bit )

I too had a good time although it was much too brief (I was only at a couple of the events) and I didn't really get a chance to spend time with everyone. I wish I had opened up my schedule for the saturday day activities because a lot of people seemed to bond that day away from the clubs because I suppose it's a little easier when it's quiet.

I paticularly want to thank Carrie for the mix cd and Gretchen (Eskimo Kisses)for the laminate. The cd is pretty good and surprisingly I had not heard many of the songs. I may steal the idea and some of the music and make a Minneapolis themed cd for some out-of-town people I know.

Both me and Amy had a great time at the Kitty Cat Club on Friday night
and it was fun to finally get to spend some real time with Endo and Carrie because even though we all live in the same town had I only met them briefly.

I was sorry I had to leave the 90's so early but neither me and Amy were feeling that well and truthfully the Club scene isn't exactly our thing.

I finally got to meet HandClaps and I'm hoping sometime I will actually get to sit down and talk with you. We had a case of bad timing this weekend.

Other orgers I met all too briefly were Violett, Tackam, Matt, Minneapolisgenius (who if I were single.... ), PaisleyPark4, Anxiety, Ripher2shreds, Muse, TheArtistFormerlyKnown as (although we never got to discuss our policial views , and I'm sure their were others I'm forgetting to mention. All of the orgers were real nice and the best part is that at least while I was around the Prince talk was kept to a minimum.

Damn...it seems like I really missed out, and I was soooo close to being there that I couldn't have been any closer. Instead I was in mud up to my ass trying to get my yard done and a storage shed moved into my backyard.



Next time there's another get-together, PLEASE let me know. I'm just going to go sulk in the corner.
