High heels for little girls

No!!!!! I opened a parenting magazine today and there was a full page ad featuring 2 little girls with high heels on eek. It was from a manufacturer of children's shoes!?! I am apalled. When do kids get to be kids? These girls were dressed like little prostitutes at the age of 5 mad

In the department stores there is not much to choose from if you want your little girl to dress like a child. Everything is midriff exposing with shiny sparkly material, tight lo-rise jeans for 18 month-olds (no joke). I am glad I have boys, t-shirts and shorts - easy.

My daughter is 13. It is very difficult to find clothes that don't make her look slutty. Luckily she's an athlete and likes more conservative gear. Low rider jeans are my enemy. I make her try on every jean to see if they are appropriate mad

it is totally different to an a la carte kitchen, as in the way an a la cart kitchen is a roll play toy that enables children (boys too) to play at being grown up's this doesn't mean they have to wear totally inapropriate clothes that are designed for stupid adults who want to be uncomfortable in the name of fashion...

and the fact is small children 5ish are still growing and i can't imagine high heels are apropriate for the small soft growing bones in the feet.

it is really weird why any one would like to see a child dressed up as an adult, personally i think it's a little weird

oh and want to do my washing batting eyes

I've often asked people what is a "good" age for young ladies to start wearing thongs. The general consensus is around 16. However, a know a lot of mothers that are having the same problem Rhonda has, trying to find clothes that don't look slutty. Pants are made tighter and tighter with lower waist lines...I live right down the street from three schools--an elementary, a middle, and a high school. You wouldn't know the difference judging by how the girls dress. omg

I'm in high school, and I really hate the low rise jean thing. I do not want to see the thong and the butt crack of the girl sitting in front of me! pissed

I was going to mention that (sad) fact myself.

I always wonder about the parents who think it's OK or cute to dress these little girls like mature, sexual women. I would feel like a pervert if I were to intentionally dress my daughter in such a trampy, sleazy way.

Let children enjoy the innocence of childhood for as long as they can, that's my feeling on it.

We had a dance at church, I came upon a little crowd in the dancefloor where a 10 year old girl was humping the floor, then turning over and imitating....you get the idea. THAT WAS STOPPED IMMEDIATELY!

Unbelievable. eek neutral

She is one of the worst role models a little girl could have, did you see pics of her wedding? Everytime I see a picture of her lately she's wearing something you wouldn't let your dog sleep on.

If the kids wanna dress up like a crack ho for class then let 'em.

But if my mom made me wear a thong I'd be like... AYY! Get back to the store and buy me a Terrence & Philip t-shirt instead bitch (and get me some family sized bags of Cheesy Poofs too, cuz we're almost out).
