The Grudge

Who's going to see it? I'm going as soon as it opens tomorrow.

It looks like it might be a total ripoff of The Ring, but I don't care. Every time I see the commercial I get so excited. The boy making the cat cry, the fingers coming out of Buffy's skull, even the visual similarities to The Ring. I love it. I hope I'm scared shitless.

I am now off to watch the trailer!

BTW Sarah Michelle Gellar's cover on Entertainment Weekly nr 787 is awesome, but the pics inside; WOW!

This young women has got class, takes herself not all too seriously and I am sure that the Buffy series were just the beginning of a splendid carreer...

I dunno... I think I'm going to try and see it tonight. I'm a little leery because Sarah Michelle Geller is in it, and, I think it said that it was rated PG-13, but, I've heard that the elevator scene is extremely frightening and that it is better than the Ring. Sooo... I dunno, the trailer looks good, but I'm scared that perhaps that's as good as it may get, despite what I've heard about it.

Well, tell me how it is. I was no fan of the original, and I'm hoping the remake is better.

She's a grower. She just takes her time, lives a pretty normal life and is not willing tabloid fodder.

And she is getting better at what she does...

Have you seen the pics I am talking about?

Suitably creepy. I'd give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. Out of the four people I went with, only my mom didn't like it. But that's common. We rarely like the same movies anymore.

Best to see it in a quiet theater. There were a few jerk-offs in the theater last night and they were a big distraction.

I had the same thing. There were a couple of stoned kids giving a running commentary on every single fucking thing.

I'll eventually see it. The reviews for it haven't been so good though. Somewhat predictable according to them....but aren't they all these days.

true. DVDs come out so fast now....that sometimes it's pointless to even go to the movies, especially if it's a movie that you're not dyin' to see.
