p.s. Who would be the orger that's been here the longest? I see names of folks here that I remember from years back - I got swallowed by the org just after the mailing list became a site - but I'm sure there has to be some guys here from those mailing list days! (even if you maybe on your 6th or 7th username )

I am personally a "Old Schooler" and I tell ya what. Back in those days the chat was jumping 24/7. Everyone knew about everything about each other. We were a tight clique but as time has went by we have seemed to scatter out. I miss the ole days cause this place was sooooo much fun and chat was the place to hang out. The laughs,drama, and bs involved. I miss my late night chats with some of the orgers.. Wish alot of them would come back and frequent.. Anyways times change and I have no problem with newbies.. But please respect us as well cause we have been fans for many many years and have been through the good and bad of prince yet still standing here. I know personally I have been a fan since I was in Diapers.. My mother even told me the first time I heard a prince song not even able to walk yet I started wiggling. So if that says anything. So to all the new founded fans welcome.

The chat used to be so much more fun. Being able to post pics in there made it so much fun and there were always plenty people around to talk to. For hardcore fans this site used to be the shit and I remember it being praised in various articles (newspapers, magazines) and websites. Now it's just another forum. With so many OT posts I don't even really consider it a Prince site anymore.

Old skoolers have seen it all; the drama, the love affairs, the endless discussions about Prince and his music. I, however, do not think there's anything like a clique over here. Newbies are easily accepted and only get in shit if they come here and start dissing the old skoolers for not talking about Prince as much in the chatroom or making "rude" comments.

This type of behaviour can be seen all over the net though and even IRL. It's like that new co-worker thinking he knows it all and bitching about things that need to change. If you want to prevent getting flamed, lurk around for a while and find out what the site is about and how people interact.
