Anyone think SNL will dare to parody Ashlee Simpson proving she's a talentless hack on THEIR show, next weekend? If this happened on ANY other TV show, we all know SNL would have it in a skit ASAP. They'd probably have trouble waiting until the next Saturday to do it. Will the show prove it has integrity and parody an embarrassing moment that happened on their own show, or will SNL shy away and let MAD TV do the honors?

I don't know why SNL would allow ANYONE to lip-synch on the program. I've had a problem with this for years. If someone wants to promote a record on SNL, they should have to face the cameras and SING. Hopefully this won't just be a wake-up call to the music industry, Ashlee Simpson's lemmings or to Ashlee Simpson herself. Hopefully this will also be a wake up call to Saturday Night Live.

I think it is shitty that she BLAMED her band.. She just got busted and needed an OUT! Not that i had any resepct for her before, but more-so now, she is getting lower on my list!

I'm not sure if SNL has the guts to do a parody about it. They may feel sorry for her. There will surely be others, though.
