Why do women get upset when you ask them about their weight?

Like I don't have a right to ask that question..like you can ask me how I look. If I'm secure with that, I won't get upset. What's the big deal?

most women are insecure about their weight so they tend to get a little upset when such a question is asked
prove me wrong

Is it that personal? What if you never met them before and you want to meet them?

Not really, but when chatting online, first questions are, what do you look like, how much do you weigh and what colour are your eyes, and that shit.. so that person is more interested in what you look like than what personality and opinions you have and that.. pout

So you know what they are after, if you get what I am saying..

I have more respect for these people than those who would play the "I don't care what you look like" angle. Let's be honest: we all care about looks. Sure, if you're a smart person, personality is at least equally as important to you as appearance, but to pretend it's not a factor is a fairy tale.

The short answer to your question ("Why do women get upset when you ask them about their weight?") is "A woman that's confident about her appearance will not get upset".

That's not entirely true. There are women who are confident about their appearance who realize that others may not find them attractive.
This issue is not so simple.

Same reason why guys don't like it if you ask them, right off the bat, if they have a big penis or how much money they make or how expensive of a car they drive, or if male pattern baldness runs in their family.

Maybe it's true that people want to know that kind of thing (for whatever reason/s) but it's still a rude question that speaks volumes about the personality, priorities, and manners of the questioner.

it really doesn't bother me if someone asks my weight (unless it's asked in a really bad or nasty way, of course)

no seriously, why would you even need to ask that question? maybe if you're a doctor or something. (mcmeekle, this does not give you license to ask all the org women their weight. you have to be their personal physician. wink )

Slim women don't mind if you ask 'em. They always ask me too, and I often weigh less than them. Poor kittens.
