Why do women get upset when you ask them about their weight? Like I don't have a right to ask that question..like you can ask me how I look. If I'm secure with that, I won't get upset. What's the big deal? Reality used to be a Friend of Mine.

Not really, but when chatting online, first questions are, what do you look like, how much do you weigh and what colour are your eyes, and that shit.. so that person is more interested in what you look like than what personality and opinions you have and that.. So you know what they are after, if you get what I am saying.. if sexy was a colour it would be red

Let's be honest: we all care about looks. Sure, if you're a smart person, personality is at least equally as important to you as appearance, but to pretend it's not a factor is a fairy tale.

The short answer to your question ("Why do women get upset when you ask them about their weight?") is "A woman that's confident about her appearance will not get upset".

That's not entirely true. There are women who are confident about their appearance who realize that others may not find them attractive. This issue is not so simple.

Same reason why guys don't like it if you ask them, right off the bat, if they have a big penis or how much money they make or how expensive of a car they drive, or if male pattern baldness runs in their family.
Maybe it's true that people want to know that kind of thing (for whatever reason/s) but it's still a rude question that speaks volumes about the personality, priorities, and manners of the questioner. [Edited 10/22/04 17:36pm]

I don't get upset. Nor do I think it's a personal question. JMO though...someone else might see it as personal. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Because it matters not. The only measurement that matters is not on the female anatomy

'Why do women get upset when you ask them about their weight?
cuz it's none of your damn business! that's why!! no seriously, why would you even need to ask that question? maybe if you're a doctor or something. (mcmeekle, this does not give you license to ask all the org women their weight. you have to be their personal physician. )
