I don't like it at all, but I can't put it aside, I never can, no matter how bad the book is...

I always need something to read, and therefore, thought about Oprah's book club. Her suggestions usually seem pretty good. I just finished reading "The Good Earth" by Pearl Bruck. Very good. It is set in China in the 1940's, I believe.

I have lost so many books by lending them out to people who never return them. What is wrong with people? I would never do that. Therefore, I just quit telling my friends about books, then they won't ask to borrow them.

I never finished it, I had to give the bok back. I read some short stories by Cumus, I lkke his style but you get the feeling they would be better in French.

Never finished it? It's only about 115 pages long or something. smile

Know what u mean, but I always think that about any book that's been translated.

Heart wrenching and humourous. A book that will inspire and provoke. This is great stuff people. Forget the gothic Anne Rice "Another Vampire Sucked Me Off" or Stephen King "How More Fucked In The Head Can I Get?" type books. This is a must...I repeat a MUST for young and older readers alike. An instant classic.

Currently, nothing. But, I'm off to the bookstore later and am going to pick up either TommyLand (how is it so far, Sag?) or Dave Navarro's book.
