WHAT IS LOVE? What is LOVE? A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph down the road on a motorcycle. This is the conversation they had... Girl: Slow down. I'm scared. Guy: No this is fun! Girl: No it's not. Please, we're going too fast! Guy: Then tell me you love me and I will slow down. Girl: Fine, I love you. Slow down! Guy: Now give me a BIG hug. *Girl hugs him* Guy: Can you take my helmet off and put it on? It's bugging me. In the paper the next day: A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. Two ppl were in the accident, but only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks went out, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him and felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die. "Love is not selfish, so Love is not only means being happy, but is to make who you love happy even if you are unhappy with it." For you see, no one really knows what tomorrow holds in store for you, you might not live to see the next day. And sometimes you have to tell someone something, but run out of time to do so. So take five minutes out of your time to tell someone you love them because you really never know if this is the last day of your life This made me cry when I got it in an email...love is something that we, every day, take for granted so today phone, call around, sms, fax, email WHATEVER someone you love and let them know you love them...it will show blue skies in even the darkest day  | |

very sweet...
although it just proves i ain't in love right now...no man would get my helmut. i'd be keeping it for my damn self!!! now my child on the other hand...he'd get it in a second. you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel

I may be able to speak the languages of men and even of angels, but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell.
I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith needed to move mountains - but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burnt - but if I have no love, this does me no good. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal. There are inspired messages, but they are temporary; there are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but they will cease; there is knowledge, but it will pass. For our gifts of knowledge and of inspired messages are only partial; but when what is perfect comes, then what is partial will disappear. When I was a child, my speech, feelings and thinking were all those of a child; now that I am a man, I have no more use for childish ways. What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete - as complete as God's knowledge of me. That is a beautiful gesture, but the guy is really dumb.
So what if the breaks didn't work, he could've switched to a lower gear and slow down a little at a time, or not speed in the first place 
When I love, I try to give everything to my lover. as long as my lover is happy and safe, I'm happy. I would give my life if that would safe my lover's. I'd give up my own happiness for the sake of my lover's. | |
