Actually, on the how today they said that women enrolled in college in the school year 2003- 2004 outnumbered men enrolled in college in the ame year by 36%

African American men were outnumbered 3 to 1 by african American women enrolled last school year.

And traditionally women recieve better grades than men.

So Byron I get to finally tell you, when it comes to people my age, YOU WRONG! nana

Yes, but women are paid $.77 for each dollar a man is paid...so there ya go..lol wink

and besides....a woman with a degree IS going to make more money than a man who does NOT have a degree....and what the question at hand is dealing with tease
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

1) Give me the stats on the percentage of females that graduate compared to the percentage of males who graduate...if the percentages are close, then it's a wash. wink

2) It only depends upon what field the degree is in...a degree in computer tech is gonna bring you a higher income than a degree in literature. wink

3) Give me a statistic showing the percentage of women who get a job/start a career in their chosen field as compared to men who do...if the percentages are close, then once again it's a wash. wink

Ok thread jackers mad wink

Back to the topic....

I think that the value of a relationship is NEVER a monetary one.

It's all about how you treat eachother. The love, support, respect and friendship you share is what should be considered.

Yes as I have said, as far as I am concerned, I wish Pill and I could go on vacation together, but I am just as happy going to dinner with the man in Topeka or riding around Jersey with him in my truck.

He has a young daughter to care for,and his responsiblity to her only further endears him to my heart.

Money for me is NOT an issue.

BUT it is for some....why?
