I think I've done this one before, but the answer is Superman.

While Hulk often bellows "Hulk is the strongest one there is", that's not actually true. Sure, Hulk gets stronger as he gets madder, but his strength has never shown to equal that of Superman.

Superman also has the advantage of super-speed. He would simply fly so fast that Hulk couldn't get ahold of him, while continuously landing blows to Hulk's head. Keeping him off balanced and dazed would keep ol' Greenskin from getting too mad, and eventually he would fall. Once unconscious, he would revert back to Bruce Banner. End of fight.

I think the strongest one there is refers only 2 the MARVEL Universe, not DC, but ur right of course, pre-Crisis SUPERMAN could actually move planets - no contest, post-Crisis KAL-EL would still b too much 4 HULKster...

True, Hulk is only referring to himself within the universe he inhabits, but even that is misleading. Hulk wouldn't be much of a match for, say, Galactus!

Why are Prince fans so hard to please? I mean, everybody thinks they know what's best for the man, but every move he makes, he gets criticized for.

Because we all got spoiled in the 80s with him churning out such incredible tunes left and right. In those years, he released more examples of pure, auditory genius than most artists do their entire careers. No artist can continue to be that prolific and keep putting out music of such high calibre.

Prince's 90s output wasn't as consitently brilliant, but it was still pretty damned good (with a couple of crappy exceptions like New Power Soul), so folks got pissy. They expected him to continue being the most incredible thing out there, and when he became merely great they couldn't handle it.

Couple that with his conversion to a non-mainstream denomination, and you've got the recipe for fan backlash (although, I think he would have taken heat no matter what religion he turned to).

Another factor is the advent of the internet. The net seems to breed cynicism, perhaps because people can say much more derisive things when their faces aren't seen.

A chess match between Beast (from X-Men) and Bruce Wayne?

Chewbacca vc. Captain Caveman & Tazmanian Devil?

She-Ra vs Evil-Lyn?

Would Superman be affected if hit by the The Emperor's lightning strikes?

Why did Marlon Brando look so uninterested in Superman?

Batman. He's the DCU's foremost detective. Bats would have him sized up pretty quickly, and would figure out that he was in a life containment suit. He'd find a way to distract the Sith Lord, then take out his suit before he could bring The Force to bear on him. Short of God, Batman could take on just about anyone and win.

Oooooo! Good one! Well, I'd have to give this one to The Beast. Not that Batman wouldn't make a great chess player, but Hank plays the game quite a bit. Bruce would be a natural, but I doubt he really spends a whole lot of time playing it, thus giving Beast the edge.

Chewbacca vc. Captain Caveman & Tazmanian Devil?

Chewie. Sure, Capt. Caveman & Taz are all full of piss & vinegar, but Chewie has brains AND brawn. He'd kick their asses.

She-Ra vs Evil-Lyn?

Hmmm, probably She-Ra, because it appears that the Masters Of The Universe have the most inept rogues gallery in the universe.

Would Superman be affected if hit by the The Emperor's lightning strikes?

Yes. Its been pointed out that The Force is a MYSTICAL energy field, and Supes is vulnerable to magic (plus, the definition of The Force in SW and magic in the DCU are quite similar)

Why did Marlon Brando look so uninterested in Superman?

Because at that point, Brando was starting to become a lazy fucker. He didn't even want to come to the set. He tried to convince Donner that he could just record the voice for Jor-El at home, and they could then film his scenes with a briefcase or something (I'm not making this up). He said that Jor-El wasn't human, so there was no need to actually film a live human. Donner told him if he wanted to get paid the fat cash, and get top billing, he had to actually appear in the film.

And finally...

Gollum vs. Jar Jar Binks?

Gollum would have that orange frog for breakfast, all while singing a little song!

Bats has managed to survive being around Darkseid, who is waaaaay more deadly than Darth. Bats would immediately manage to throw Vader off balance with a batarang or something. Even if Vader was choking him, Bats would be thinking of a way out of it, probably by taking out his controls on his life-support suit. In short, Bats would win.

Hmmm, it would be real easy to say Supes, and that is more than likely the case, BUT there are a few ways it could go to a master like, say, Yoda.

First off, as established previously, The Force is mystical in nature, and thus Supes is vulnerable to it. While its doubtful Yoda could kill him, he could certainly render him unconcious. A lightsaber wouldn't harm him at all, unless a focusing crystal could be made from green krytonite (an unlikely prospect)

Of course, if the planet they're on has a RED sun, then all bets are off! Even a skilled padawan could take out Supes then!

Hi, JediMaster, Now I've got 2 questions:

1) Why do you hate Eminem so much? I mean, he's undeniably one of the best rappers out there.

2) Are you a fan of the British 2-Tone Ska era? (The Specials, Madness, The English Beat, The Selecter, etc.)

First off, I think he sounds like Big Bird from Sesame Street (close your eyes next time you listen to Em and picture that giant canary rapping! It soooo fits). Second I really don't think he's all that. Dr. Dre has come up with some great beats for him, but that is really were the appeal lies. I think he's basically a one-trick pony, and now that folks are getting used to him the shock value has worn off. I really don't think there's a whole lotta talent in writing lyrics about killing your ex-wife. If that was the case, then 80s metal band Lizzy Borden would be considered geniuses on a level with Prince.

I also would like him a whole lot better if he would just come out and admit that his misogyny and homophobia are actually just his way of dealing with his repressed homosexuality

2) Are you a fan of the British 2-Tone Ska era? (The Specials, Madness, The English Beat, The Selecter, etc.)

I like quite a bit of that stuff, especially Madness. The ska sound was such a fun blending of New Wave and reggae, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some bands try to do that these days, but it wounds up being about the same as the current New Wave revivial

At first, I was really happy when No Doubt resurrected that sound in the mid-90s, along with a healthy dose of 80s New Wave. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way Gwen decided she wanted to be gangsta, and that just doesn't appeal to me. Probably the reason I despised Rock Steady so much.

Ahhh!!!! Well, since I've played BOTH characters, I'm actually totally qualified to answer this one!!! Frank is meaner by far. Sure, Hedwig can be a bitch, but Frank has actually killed people. He'd make Hedwig his bitch, and she'd love it!!! Of course, Hedwig would eventually manage to play Frank, getting anything she wanted.
