how ya doin Do I ever hate that saying
When did this become our national greeting? This year I've gone thru some of the worst of my life And every stranger has to ask how it's going? What happened to hello, maybe how it's going is private. Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there

I guess it's better than "How's it hanging?" That just sounds stupid. Especially
when a female is asked that.

. [Edited 10/19/04 17:36pm] I know, but when expressions like "hello" exist why do people say this. Why do I have to lie and say good all day. Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there

Next time a person asks, go into lengthy detail with something made-up about how your morning has sucked including times, names of people and places of events, etc., and then see if they ask again the next day.

I know what your saying, but if your having a depressing day/week/month it feels like people are bringing it up to you over and over Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there
