Every friday night downtown Asheville... there is this great outdoor drumming circle where ya can drum and dance in the center of town ...

who here @ the Org. drums ?

or at least dances at a drumming circle ?

I own a djembe and a talking drum, but you won't catch me dancing in no circle.

i LOVE dancing in drum circles. i am in my element there. i feel centered there.

i havent been to a good circle in a long time. last year i guess at halloween was the last time. oh...thats a lie.. i danced in the circle at the renfest this year a couple months ago.... i would love to find a circle to attend more frequently.

I've got congas, bongos and timbales, but I have no clue how to use them

she doesnt do the american "hollywood" style dance but tradtional middle eastern dance styles

The best drum circles I've ever been involved in take place in Barcelona at the Parc de Citadel on Sundays. Police could give a shit. Lots of herb and beer to be found if you so desire. Lots of cool people...

my favorite drum circles here in minneapolis have been the ones at the mayday festival.

Here's what I keep time with.


I've been to a couple of drum circles in Sarasota and San Diego at sunset and it's magical/primal.
