Tell Us What City and State You Live In, and Why You Like or Dislike Living There... I live in Cleveland, Ohio, and I hate it here. The weather sucks, it is practically impossible to find a decent paying job, our professional sports teams suck and can't do anything right, to name just a few things. Cleveland was recently named "The Biggest, Poorest City", which makes it damn embarrassing to admit that I live in this freaking hell hole. The only reason why I stay here is because of close family and friends living nearby, but if I didn't have that, and a good job came up out of state, I would be out of here in a heartbeat. Some of my family members LOVE Cleveland, I don't see what the attraction is, since this place is nothing to jump up and down and do cartwheels over. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Currently I reside in Miami, Fl. I hate it here. Its not like my home NY. Im only here for school then Im out. It never changes seasons here, the palm trees shed too much, the beaches arent all that. People have no fashion sense here,it's too trendy. And they say NY'er's are rude? HAH! The only thing good about being here is that it's only a half hour away from the Carribbean. I went to the Bahamas last March for Spring Break, got there in 20 minutes. &

Gotham City, Colorado.
I like it until it gets cold. Then I want to go back to California. And it's the hardest state to meet a decent woman in. Lived here since 16, been here 20 years, and never been married. I think it's the high altitude... makes them psycho. No offense sag10 _ [Edited 10/19/04 9:38am]

San Bernardino, California...
The city itself (San Bernardino) isn't much at all...it can be rather depressing, actually..lol. But Southern California is almost like one HUGE city, so what I like about living here: ~ The mountains... ~ The small towns tucked away in the mountains... ~ The Pacific ocean... ~ The scenery along the coast... ~ The towns and cities along the coast... ~ The sunsets... ~ The wide variety of landscapes... ~ The weather... ~ The diversity of people and cultures... ~ Stumbling across movie stars at Walgreens at midnight... ~ In-N-Out burger... What I dislike about living here: ~ The traffic... ~ No rainstorms of any kind... ~ Too much brown, not enough green... ~ Wildfires... ~ Earthquakes... ~ Pepsi machines...

hi! it's me! i live in minneapolis, minnesota and i love it here. i've lived lots of other places, san francisco, japan, pennsylvania, iowa, wisconsin off and on, and i still prefer minneapolis. about the only thing i dislike about living here is the length of the winters.
CON: this year especially i was DISGUSTED that SLEET actually fell from the sky onto the windshield of my car on Sunday, October 17th, 2004. yeah you heard me. three days ago. on what SHOULD have been a warm, sunny day, sleet fell from the sky. little blobs of ice. on october 17th. PRO: OTHER than that though, i love minneapolis. it's a small city, but there are a lot of fortune 500 companies here and the job market is pretty good. we have a lot of immigrants living in minneapolis, which is something cool imo. hmong, laotian, and more recently somali people have moved here over the years. so we have a great variety of restaurants and stuff too. will i live here forever? i dunno. mauybe not. might move to portland oregon, which is also pretty cool. or else the four corners region. or florida, back to CA or . .. erm. well anyway, minneapolis is great

I live in Amsterdam, in a constant state of oblivion.
Likes; The way the leafs are coloring on the trees. The city mellowing out, people on their way to cafes or home. Most Amsterdammers speaking English fluently. Amsterdam being so small you can get everywhere on bike. All my friends being so close. Dislikes; People just visiting here for weed and prostitutes. Even though they give us lots of income. People hurrying everywhere all of the time. The fact that the entire city seems a work in progress; loads of major streets are open due to roadworks.
