Maybe it's because I'm insecure...but I always wonder what people think of me, what their impressions are, and since I had that convo with Byron the other night/morning (see thread for details http://www.prince.org/msg/100/118798 ) I't's really been on my mind.

A while ago I asked Byron about what he thought I was like before he met/got to know me and he said that he didn't expect me to be as witty or as intelligent as I am (or so he said) from my posts well....thanks bestest friend of mine!

And a few weeks ago a new teacher at my school told me I came across as a hard ass (which I kinda am that's true) and that I came across "prim and proper" I almost -ed at that one!

So my question to you guys is..... What wrong/or accurate impressions do people have of you?


Have you ever proved someone's preconceived notions of you wrong? How'd ya do it?

ps. I still don't know if my pictures "match" my posts or not.

Your pictures do match you. My impression of you is that you are a very kind considerate person (by your posts, reactions and stories).
The smoking part is the only thing that doesn't fit in that picture. But I think you said you quit, right?


People have very different impressions of me. many are right, but nobody seems to think I'm shy. at least the ones who know me only online.
Most impressions I get is that people think I'm 'special'. Very distant yet very caring.
Some say I seem snobbish, which is only right at times when I feel like those people are pretty much greedy and selfish. I usually act towards someone the way they act to others, or to me. With me, everyone gets exactly what they give.

For me-I don't let a lot of people know the real me so I don't know what they think. It's not a big issue for me anyway-I've always let the people I really wanted to get to know in more and have everybody else more wondering.

I don't really dwell on that stuff I guess.

This is pretty interestingz, i guess this concept alwayz kinda lingered at da back of my mind from da very start of me bein online herez!! Yeah, i'll say dat what u see is pretty much what u get If there is one consistant impression of me, it'z dat i laugh alot!! Over any and everything!! Another is i'm a little bit funny! But really i'm just a silly gal who darez to blurt out da ridiculous, just cause it'z amusing. It riskz people'z perception of my depth in wayz of meanz and thoughtz,but 2 me dat'z okay, cause I know who i am, n those who know me well know who i am too!
