He escaped once already, but DeeDee hissed him back, the bitch. Then it was off for our first fight getting him to swallow his pills.... PHEW! | |

And then he crawled onto my lap and PURRED.... this lil' tomcat can still amaze me; he is such a good kitty. His purrr is all I need to be happy these days. | |

TUESDAY EVENING
Came back from work. Dexter really cuddly in spare bedroom. We cuddled. Then I let him out of the spare bedroom, just for the evening. He liked the new cough. He was on it in like five seconds after giving it a good sniffdown. DeeDee did not like the way he smelled though, so she hissed her hairballs out, practically. She was really upset. Dexter was kinda brave, walked around the livingroom like he owned it, but meowed a bit at the changes I made while he was gone. Then DeeDee got REALLY bitchy and he just walked back to the spare bedroom. Poor fella. Best thing is I found a way to administer his medicines. I grind the pills and put it through that yummy catmilk.... no more getting him in a deathgrip and sweating while I pry his mouth open to stuff them two pills down his throat that he 4 outa 5 times coughs up first thing after I let him loose. | |

We do a similar thing with Squeaky except the only way to get her to take pills is in the middle of pate | |

WEDNESDAY EVENING.
I came home and he did not drink hi scatmilk with the powdered pills, so I had to force feed him. His peeing is under par... Damn damn damn. But he is still lively, drinks and eats. Now he just walked into the livingroom and he is on the couCh, licking himself clean (he probably retched up his pills somewhere...) and seems content... We'll see. I have an appointment at the vet on monday anyways... | |

He is sleeping like a log... poor thing. Good thing is that he has been handled SO much by strangers, he is allowing waaaay more than usual, so we cuddle alot. | |
