How Elaborate Are Your Dreams?

Mine are very detailed. I dream loads lately.

Just woke up.

The dream I had involved a buillding I can draw from memory and weird cameo's by some friends I have not seen in a while.

Usually, if not always; my dreams are elaborate, & vivid. Touch, taste, colour, scent, all present in my dreams. But lately I can't remember any dreams. Not even sure if I've had one recently. confuse

I have had some very, very detailed dreams but it's not really a regular thing.

I had a really detailed one 2-3 weeks ago and it was very disturbing. So disturbing that I couldn't possibly discuss the content of it!

It took a few days to get over it but I'm ok now!! smile

I had a very bizarre one recently where I got picked to play for my local professional football team.

I scored two goals in my first match! woot!

Then was let go for not being a natural footballer confused shrug

I love my dreams cause they're fucking weird and I love being in the surreal world that my mind creates; even when it's terrifying.

No matter how involved they are, I always know I'm dreaming and I can direct how I want them to turn out.

I levitate a lot in my dreams.

I alwayz dream in color nod Some reflect what'z goin down wif me in a very life-like sense, and other timez i have some weird-ass kinda dreamz dat only make sense when i analyse em. I kinda remember dreams dating back to when i was 3-4 years old. Some are really really ellaborate, and some are so vague, dat they were just fleeting dream momentz...usually before i go into a deep sleep or just beggining to wake up..

My dreams tend to be incredibly vivd, strange, elaborate. And, well, I can lucid dream, so I'm basically actively involved. I love my dream life. I can't completely control what I dream about, but as soon as I realize I'm dreaming I can control my own actions in the dream (if I'm in it, which ocasionally I'm not, like I'm just watching a movie or something), or sometimes just certain aspects of the dream. I've learned to wake myself up if I'm having a nightmare (though that one took me a long time!). I go through periods where I'm remembering my dreams every night and then months where I don't pay much attention.

you can lucid dream nod
I want to learn how to do that...then I could have loadsa dream sex.

Anyway. You wanna know something weird? When I was 6 I had this recurring event in my dream where I'd be doing something and my middle finger on my right hand would turn brown and fall off. Two weeks into this recurring event I had my hand out a car window and got the tip of my middle finger on my right hand cut off. It's normal now, but I've never been able to explain that - weird, eh?

I love my dreams; I have a very fruitful and unstoppable imagination which make them extremely elaborate, detailed and vivid. Each one of my senses is involved in such a way that, for example, if I'm dreaming I'm touching a piece of leather (from clothes or a bag) it would be exaclty the same thing than touching real leather in real life. They're always really beautiful and strange at the same time; usually there's nothing logic in them and they don't make any sense (unless I analyze them carefully). In my dreams I always tend to reach my ideals; which could be impossible in real life. rainbo
I also have nightmares really often which is less enjoyable but at the end of the day I realize they are also meaningful about my personality, and I learn to accept them.

not weird at all !!

in our shamanic studies we practice lucid dreaming ... dreaming the body double and ways to gain power ( strength ) through our dreams

i have very vivid dreams, very detailed and gain a tremendous amount of "insight" from them ... just like the info bout your finger ... then use those tools during the awake time to better our lives ... and to help others

I use to have 3 or 4 lucid dreams a month, then I stopped writing my dreams down. There are many things you can do when you have one.

I don't dream often, but when I do they are VERY VIVID and usually they are, as Jung said,"big dreams", sound ,color, smell, touch it's all there and usually a lot more enhanced than real day to day life. Images and experiences are more potent and clear in my dreams.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

MrJoker

I sometimes have this one dream over and over. It depends on what I'm collecting at the time (it's been such things as Star Wars collectibles, Prince records or CDs, etc), but I end up going to some store that has oodles of the things I don't have in my collection and I'm grabbing things up left and right. Then before I get to pay for them, I suddenly wake up.

Damn, that's sooooo frustrating! mad

I like to eat in my dreams, last night I was eating an icy and drinking some juice or soda...it was tasty. One time when I was lucid I was standing in front of a vending machine, I was kinda curious about how the food taste in a dream..so I took out a gronola bar...it wasn't that bad.
