it's recently occurred to me that i far prefer orange juice from the can to orange juice from cartons (and i'm not talking about the concentrate stuff that you add water to - i'm talking about the stuff in big cans that you find in the juice aisle). the stuff in the cartons is too syrupy and sticky sweet, whereas the stuff in the big cans seems to have less corn syrup in it and it also seems a lot more tangy. and it's cheaper!!!

any other fans of the can? and are moderators exempt from the "lamest thread of the year award"???

I like the juice if I don't drink it directly from the can...otherwise it's too metal tasting...

I used to work in the Supermarket biz...

NOBODY bought can OJ...it sat on the shelves for years.
Maybe that brought about a certain "fermented" taste that you like...

OJ should be refridgerated.
My favorite is Tropicana, especially STRAWBERRY/BANANA/ORANGE
