I just came back from the .... dentist. My face feels horrible. I felt like I couldn't close my mouth. I felt so awkward. My face kinda feels like jello an is a little painful to the touch. The dentist took this gigantic needle and stuck it in my gums. My legs were violently shaking most of the time. I'm not going to say what I went for because i'm a little embarrassed.

It was only a poke. I got use to needles. The only time I really had a problem with a needle is when I was small and they stuck in my end.

what is up with people getting drugs or shots at the dentist just
to completely numb up their mouth before a cavity is filled or some other minor repairwork is done? I've had a dozen cavities filled up in all those years and I've never ever had a single dose of anything. It's always just plain old drilling direct to the tooth Admitting, I am a bit of a masochist, but hey, it doesn't hurt that much now does it? Last time, due to medication, I had 4 cavities. I was shocked about that. But I let my dentist fill all 4 at once and still had no drugs. Sheesh people. That shot they put in your gums and all the back-up drugs for home will leave you feeling a lot worse for a lot longer than just laying back, relaxing and letting the man or woman do their work. That way, when they're done you can just get up and all is over. Maybe it's a European thing? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I sorta feel your pain....yesterday I had bumps removed from under both my eyelids, so they HAD to give me drugs. I was like the joker in that chair. it was horrible after though, since I had patches covering both my eyes. Just take some Tylenol or somethin' like that.....you'll feel better. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

The pain from the drilling( or whatever he was doing) was extremely minimal. I guess your teeth have to feel sensitive when you get it done.( you know when you eat a lot of candy and your teeth is sensitive to the air or to the touch)

I remember when they gave me some water and told me to spit. All the water just fell out of my mouth. I was like what's going on?, What's wrong with my mouth.
