Good call on the Annie Lennox comparison. (Missed last night's show.  )
ANTM has got to be THE most contrived reality show on the air. I think Tyra & Co. know who they want to win. The show plays on strenghts and weaknesses. Like last season one girl didn't want to pose in the nude. Guess who got booted that night? And when it came down to Yoanna and Mercedes, what was the make or break challenge? A beauty shoot, something Yoanna would be sure to ace. (She'd won a previous beauty shoot challenge.) She became ANTM, of course. All of that said, I still like the show. So far I like Ann (Is she still in love with Eva?) and Ya Ya. | |
