I would first ask if anything bad happens.
Then I would ask as a result of what? (So i didn't know what happened, but I knew that my decision would cause it).
That way I'd be more careful about deciding things nod which would be beneficial to my life in general.

if you could see the future and couldn't change it then what would be the point? I mean the present is so depressing why would you want to know how fucked up the future would be?

absolutely not.

it would make life so much more boring, knowing what was going to happen. anyway, instinctively it irks me.

no way, life is supposed to be full of suprises, and what motivation would you have for getting out of bed if you found out no matter what you do you were going to end up living in the gutter drinking urine to survive and sleeping in a box

No, I wouldn't. It would make me feel very dirty or something, I don't know how to explain as English is not my native tongue.

hmmm. is our destiny pre-determined or can we change the future if we try? is there one universe or many universes, each one representing every probable course of events, existing side-by side in the space-time continuum?

will knowledge of the future change the future in that the knowledge of the future itself is catalyst for change?

what was the question again? wink

This reminds me of something. Remember that episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where Worf kept jumping from one reality to another? The episode is titled "Parallels", and it's airing on SpikeTV tomorrow at noon central time. geek

I'd be very tempted out of curiousity but my head would get the better of me and I (hopefully) wouldn't succumb to it...life is about living each day to the fullest, learning and loving to the best of your ability...it's about the rollercoaster ride that gives us, as Lollyp0p said, a reason to get out of bed every day...

life's eternal surprise awaits us with each year...month...day...hour and minute nod

No, First, that would be like know the outcome of a novel, then why read it at all. Secondly, you may get a butterfly effect situation, where trying to change anything makes things worst with new unforseen consequences.

I don't want to know. Yeah, it sucks when bad crap happens, but will you feel any different if you see it coming? And what, if in your attempts to change something, it becomes worse instead of better?

Everyday I just thank God I have that day, bitchy as I can be about it... wink

What would be the point in having a life if you could see how it all turns out. What's the point?

Most of the important stuff on the market didn't exist years ago...that's scary. My world vision/dream for the future is free-housing for everybody. I mean, half the housing available is used junk already anyway...AWAY with RENT!
