Your 15 minutes of fame Andy Warhol once said "The day will come when everyone will be famous for 15 minutes."
So what was yours? What did you do, and how widely was it noticed? ...Or are you still waiting? Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

When I was student editor of my college's semesterly multicultural magazine, I inherited quite a controversy from my successors. They'd run a story critiquing Black/Jewish relations, and it was WAY inflammatory (and biased AND inaccurate). We had half the campus and many local communities appealing for our publishing rights to be pulled, the other half sending huge donations, advertisers boycotting, U.S. media outlets across the country requesting interviews and international outlets from as far as Asia wanting to transcribe the article in various languages. It was exhilerating and kind of scary!
We were able to run a special follow-up issue that carried views from all sides, and I think, in retrospect, that was a pretty professional way to handle it. ...No movie or nude modeling offers, though. [Edited 10/13/04 6:50am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Right before I get the nobel price for Medcine that is For those of you who missed my shiny helmet....

I did a commercial thingy for Kid's World when I was 8. They had to do at least 10 takes before I got it right. I remember it was the first time I stole a pair of my mom's panty hose.

I was Drum Major in my university band. We got to travel to Japan and all over the U.S., so at any given game, we would perform in front of 40k-100k people. I think back on shaking my thang in front of a crowd like that and wonder how I did it.
Oh well... I am MrVictor....

I like being backstage.
The most exciting gig was working on an award show at the Dutch Royal Palace on Dam Square in Amsterdam. And getting drunk afterwards at the coctail party and laughing too loud at the dinner afterwards. The Queen raised her eyebrow at me.
