Gotta admit that I was impressed that Pedro didn't take back that "Yankees are my daddy" (or something like that) quote. (Is he trying to redeem himself for tackling Zimmer last year?) He practically admitted that they "own" him. Anyway, Yankees fans jumped all over it and were chanting it every chance they got. There's even a "Who's Your Daddy?" t-shirt. *Ugh* | |

Still that's too much money to be givin' him from the start....even if it's in his Rangers contract. I'm a Braves fans though, so this isn't really an issue with me. I just hate the Yankees that much to pull for any opposing team.

"The Yankees are my daddy" was the stupidest thing he could have possibly said. He was practically begging for the chants with that. I think he pulled that move to gain some respect from the Yankees and their fans after practically beating up Don Zimmerman.
