Gmail is excellent. I've been using it for several months now, and will never use hotmail (or even yahoo for that matter) again as a free web-based email. I've invited several friends, and I've yet to run out of invites! They continue to make improvements, and it's been only good so far. I never liked how hotmail kept you in a hotmail browser whenever you clicked on a link, and gmail doesn't do that. That 1 gigabyte of space is excellent, too. According to google, that's 5 years worth of normal e-mail usage without having to delete a single e-mail. Zoiks!

One improvement I'm looking forward to is google allowing the creation of hypertext or rich text messages. Plain text is dullsville.
