It used to be straightforward, yo basically just bid, like at an auction. As soon as you reach (or go over) the price that they are given by the airlines as ok, you get the flight. I found after a while it wasn't as good as some of the flights direct from airlines. They will give you a predictor of how likely you are to get the flight for your bid.

If you bid 210 and they say thats ok - you got the ticket, done deal. I used to find it quite exciting, waiting for the e-mail to tell me if I had got a flight or not. If you are flexible on when you fly it's really quite good.

Go on, do it!! It is safe I promise evillol

Always bid low though, start on at least a third of the airline price, if you don't get it, nothing happens you just keep bidding biggrin

Yea, see how far you get!!

It is actually quite good, I used it quite a lot for transatlantic deals, they were always top airlines and I never had one problem. Honestly.

Priceline sucks. I went out there trying to book my friend's flight to Minni and it had at least sixty flights out there for 220 bucks but when I went to buy theticket, it said that price was not availablebut a ticket for 458.00 was. I am still considering naming my own price on there though.
