Do you believe in Ghosts? Have you ever seen a Spirit or Ghost?

Briefly, tell me your ghost story...have you ever seen a ghost? I have. Basically, they are around all the time. What have you seen walking amongst us?

I've never seen one...without sounding morbid I do sometimes think I feel my Mum's presence around but it's very rare

I think I'd freak if I saw one...but I DO very much believe in the spirit world nod

I can always tell when my dad is around. It doesn't happen that often...maybe every other year. You can sense it....there's a sweat smell, the chills but not cold-cold just this eerie feeling. I just know he's around to the point I can speak to him. It's the same way with another friend who has deceased.

My Nana (her Mum) and her best friend both smell lavender which they associate with her...it's comforting for them

I think it's more than just a part of folklore, there's an element of truth to that, definitely.

I prefer to maintain a scientific point of view though.

For me, it doesn't happen that often. But when it does, I know he's there.

More for keeping a level head about it-there's been instances of things more along the lines of angels that I've been told have happened by my grandmother (to her and my aunt as in being helped in a situation and then no one's there), and I do believe that there's a communication between living and death, that point of when life ends, but after that I'm more curious about it than really know for sure.

I guess it seems too arrogant to me to say one thing or the other point blank is truth. I know there's been talks of people leaving residue (as in Ghostbusters) and I think anything's possible, but I've always been on more of the curious skeptic kind of side.

Although there's been things I've gone through that are more than I'd want to share on here but let's just say I'm leaning a little more on the ghost as something that's there but more in surrounding.

cool

You bring up a few interesting things such as:

You Said: there's a communication between living and death.

My question is...What is dead? Energy never dies...physically, our bodies are gone but Spiritually we're still around. Are we able to choose to reincarnate?

inmate09 is currently undergoing shock treatment at the present moment.

he did however wish for me to tell you that he feels that dead is dead in physical terms.

reincarnation is not an option, however we are kept alive in a sense by memories.

the spiritual inmate09 feels is a large question that is already known by some.

as for himself, he feels that it is best to wait and see what happens, always wondering.

the communication is the point between passing the physical and entering the next.

spiritual or simply crossing into another state, there's still remnants of our old selves.

i believe inmate09 is searching for spiritual answers to a mind that runs in wide fact.

he is willing to embrace farce but finds it strange to be able to say that god is fact.

perhaps he is just envious of someone's peace in their spiritual self?

the search continues.

Case

I used to hear a LOT of weird shit in my girlfriend's parents house. Her house is VERY haunted--its over 100 years old. The girl's got a TON of stories about seeing ghosts...and even a demon.

you've already heard my story...but ones from others would be interesting.
i just think if i ran into a spirit/ghost i would either pee myself or pass out (probably both and then i'd really be upset...lying around in my own urine...)
