I hate Adware

I have major problems with adware, even with Anti adware programs it still gets on the computer. The Adware 'locks up" my accounting programs. How can I get rid of adware permanantly? Sugguestions?

Don't forget to scan every day, because those programs sneak in from many websites that you enter.

I have never had a problem with ad-aware either and i use it on all my computers, you sure its this program doing this to your computer.
If ur 100% just got to add and remove then delete then hit the registry and program files and delete all that belongs to this program.

Thank you, I do scan everyday -- It seems that Adware appears every couple of minutes.

Webroot Spysweeper catches most of them. Also use AdAware and Spybot. I'd avoid the rest because many other so-called spyware removal programs are known to either generate alot of false-positives (they label some miscellaneous temporary internet file or something that could safely be deleted, as malicious spyware), to scare you into buying their programs, or they are actually bundled with even more adware/spyware.

Some forms of adware and spyware have to be manually removed. Even though the program you are running, such as Spysweeper, may have detected it and removed it, as soon as you reboot, its possible that it came back.

After you've run all those programs and cleaned your computer, then rebooted, run them again. If you see any spyware/adware back in the list, jot it down and do a search on Google for instructions on how to remove it manually.

Also, don't install programs like Kazaa or IMesh, or any other popular file sharing programs as they all come bundled with this crap. Look for adware free versions of them such as K++ or Kazaa Lite Ressurrection.
